At least two people were tragically killed Wednesday morning in a devastating fiery crash involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 10 near Highway 6 in west Houston.

The crash happened just before 5:00 a.m. on July 1 in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 (the Katy Freeway) near State Highway 6.
Right now, investigators haven’t shared many details about what led up to the crash. However, early reports say an 18-wheeler overturned and landed on top of a passenger vehicle, which then caught fire.
Sadly, police say both the truck driver and the driver of the passenger vehicle died at the scene.
